Class Description: YOU ARE AN ARTIST. Collage & Connect was created to empower adults to reclaim their inner creative gifts and prove we are all artists in life. The workshop is designed to let go of the day-to-day burdens and get lost in the creative process by making a one-of-a-kind collage.

Every collage is truly unique to the creator and won’t be your typical sip-and-paint class where everyone paints the same thing. Comparison gets removed because each participant will create their own beautiful collage. There is no skill or previous experience required. Just show up and we’ll create some dope art!

What to bring: All materials will be provided by the instructor, but you are welcome to bring your own magazines or print materials.

Steven Ecker is a collage artist getting lost in the creative process. Steve started collaging as a way to disconnect from technology and explore his imagination. Steve finds immense joy in ripping and tearing up magazines to create a new piece of art. Steve is creating spaces to awaken the artist within you. Steve believes everyone is an artist and we just have to rediscover our creative powers.
