Understanding Studio Lighting with Eric Coleman

Class Description: If the idea of off camera flash scares you, I'm here to help. Join me as I teach the beginner and intermediate techniques on how to light your subjects, and make better images.

Topics Covered: Where to begin with lighting, the science of lighting, light modifiers, lighting patterns, and gels

Materials Needed: Camera with hot shoe. Any off camera flash you have , godox trigger ( not required)

Ages Welcome: Ages 15+ are welcome

Meet the Instructor: ArtUs Co. Resident Artist, Eric Coleman

Born and raised in the Bay Area California. I have a formal photography education from Chabot College, though my appreciation for photography began years before when my mom decided to build a darkroom in our once toy room.
