Qigong with Dr. Cass

What is Qigong? Qigong is a combination of "Qi" (life-force, bioenergy, creativity, consciousness) and "gong" (cultivation or practice over time). It is a self-initiated health and wellness practice consisting of a combination of movement, meditation, and breathing. Qigong formed the early root of Chinese Medicine and is still considered an integral part of modern Chinese Medicine practices.  Come learn the benefits of Qigong in a hands on offering while learning modalities that:  • reduce stress • prevent and support illnesses and chronic conditions • support hhealthy and active aging • support longevity, vitality and wellbeing Benefits of Qigong practice include optimizing the delivery of oxygen and nutrition to the tissues, increasing the efficiency of cellular metabolism, altering neurochemistry towards healing, managing pain and mood, facilitating relaxation and mental focus, and the expansion of consciousness.

Doctor Cass will be teaching us several Qigong forms including the 4 dignities, Shen Gong, Inner Smile, and the Microcosmic Orbit. Calling upon our inner wisdom, inner healer, and inner teacher, we will then use these practices to activate healing within ourselves: body-mind-emotion-spirit.
