Glass Pendant Making - “Make-and-Take” your own piece of jewelry

Instructor: Bobbie Wilson

Ages: 11+

Class Description: Local jewelry maker Bobbie Wilson is teaching an all-levels "make-and-take" glass pendant workshop! Wilson will provide a brief overview of glass fusing before walking participants through how to build their glass pendant. The workshop will be a little over 2 hours long, and firing will take place after the workshop. Participants will have the option to come pick up their fired pendant in the week after the class or have it mailed to them.

When: May 14th, 2022, 2pm - 4:30pm

Where: 10000 Research Blvd Suite #141, Austin, TX 78759 (next to Hanara Sushi and Amy’s Ice Creams)

What to bring: All supplies will be provided by the instructor

Cost: $60 (No refunds within 48 hours before the start of class time)

About the Instructor

Bobbie Wilson (@jewelrybybobbieatx)is a mixed media artist, originally from Southern California. Bobbie has created beadwork using many methods since her early childhood. She has practiced fiber arts for over 30 years, adding spinning and weaving to her repertoire in 2007.

After relocating to Austin for employment, Bobbie began the journey to discover a more artistic life. Seeking to create custom components for herself, she took a beginning glass class at Helios Fused Glass Studio, followed by a jewelry component bootcamp.

Jewelry is an outward expression of inner power and determination, combined with elegance.
