The Art of Visual Storytelling - Manipulate reality to create your own world

Instructor: Romessa Khan

Ages: 18+

Class Description: This class is designed to teach students how to turn photography into fine art. It includes creative exercises, story building, the basics of fine art business and a demonstration of creating an image from shooting to post processing. Basic photoshop knowledge is required to get the most from the class.

Agenda includes:

  • Elements of Conceptual Photography

  • Deconstructing Compositing

  • Shoot – Walking on Water

  • Shoot – Flying High

  • Editing Process

  • How to Print your work

  • Introducing the world to your art

When: May 15th, 2022, 10am - 2pm

In-person: 10000 Research Blvd Suite #141, Austin, TX 78759 (next to Hanara Sushi and Amy’s Ice Creams)

Virtual: Zoom link will be shared via email

What to bring: Notebook and pen - no camera required

About the Instructor

Romessa Khan (@life.be.still) is an Austin-based multidisciplinary visual artist manipulating realities to create surreal worlds. Each artwork is a blend of digital and traditional mixed media and further enhanced into animations.
