Transitions, a captivating exhibition by photographer and visual artist Ben Godkin, invites you on a journey through transformation. Inspired by the awe-inspiring phenomenon of a total solar eclipse, the show explores the transformative shifts taking place in both the natural world and our evolving relationship with technology.
Godkin presents a captivating blend of traditional digital photography and AI-assisted synthography works. Through this unique combination, he unveils the breathtaking landscapes of our real world alongside the imagined possibilities of a synthetic future where artificial intelligence plays a significant role.
Transitions offers a thought-provoking exploration of the ever-changing world around us, prompting reflection on the beauty, anxieties, and possibilities that lie ahead as humanity navigates its journey towards an increasingly AI-driven future that blurs the lines between the real and the imagined.

About the artist:
I am more than just a photographer; I am a father, a husband, an adventurer, and a chaser of light. With over 15 years of experience in Wedding Photography and a BFA in Photography from Texas State University, capturing moments that last a lifetime is not just my profession, but my passion.
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me riding bikes in the picturesque landscapes of Colorado or kayaking down the rivers of Texas, exploring nature's bounty. But the fun doesn't stop there - making silly dad jokes with my kid is one of my favorite pastimes, bringing laughter and joy into our everyday lives.
